Ingredients:
- 4 cup Basmati Rice
- 1 Onion
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1tsp Ginger/Garlic paste
- 1 Packet shaan/national biryani masala
- 1 Cup yogurt
- Oil for cooking

Method:
Masala Preparation
- Heat oil and fry onion.
- When golden brown take it out of the pan.
- Let the onion cool down for 2-3 min.
- Meanwhile, add chicken in the oil and fry it.
- Put ginger/garlic paste and fry till its golden brown.
- Now put the onions, tomatoes and yoghurt in the blender and mix.
- Put the blended mixture in the chicken.
- Add your preferred biryani masala while stirring.
- Cook till its tender.
Final Touches
Boil Rice.
In a large pot, place alternating layers of rice and chicken masala.
Mix the layers while moving the biryani from pot to serving dish.
Serve with raita (mint yoghurt).
