A sweet recipe shared by my cousin Uzma Ansari
Choux Pastry (Eclairs)

Preparation Time:
Cooking Time:

Ingredients:

Water :1/2 cup (100 ml)
Shortening (Ghee/Butter) :1/4 cup (2 oz)
Flour :1/2 cup (4 oz)
Eggs : 2

Method:

1. Put water and shortening in a pan.Bring to simmer.
2. Take the pan off the heat ,add flour and mix it till a ball is fromed.
3. Now bring it back to heat for 3 to 5 min. Keep stirring all the time.
4. Now cool this mixture by putting the pan(or bowl) containing it in a dish of water.
5. Beat two eggs with a fork.
6. Add the eggs to the mixtue (which is cooled till attains room temperture).
7. Beat with electric beater to make a smooth mixture.
8. Now fill it in a piping bag and make the required shapes on an ungresed tray.
9. Bake for 35 min at 400 F.

When its baked its hollow from inside.

10. Leave these for 1 hr or till the time they r completely cooled.
11. Fill in with cream and put chocolate sauce on top.

Also this pastry can be filled with any other filling like chicken, qeema and vegetables. And topped with cream cheese or cheese sauce.
