A staple food for every modern home. The same recipe can be adapted to a mutton curry version.
Chicken Ginger

Ingredients:


  • Chicken 1/2 kg

  • Onion 1 whole

  • Ginger 2 tablespoons chopped, 1 tablespoon crushed

  • Salt To taste

  • Red chilies 1 teaspoon

  • Black pepper 1 teaspoon

  • Yogurt 3/4 cup

  • Oil 1/2 cup

Method:


  1. Fry the chopped onion until it is golden brown.

  2. Add some water in it.

  3. Now fry chicken for 5-6 minutes.

  4. Chicken will change its color.

  5. Now, add salt, chilies, back pepper and crushed ginger in yogurt.

  6. Pour this yogurt into the chicken turn the heat slow.

  7. Add chopped ginger after 10 mins.

  8. Cook till the chicken is tender.

  9. Garnish it with green chilies and coriander.


Note: you can use boneless chicken as well.
