At about 3 hours drive from Tripoli, lies the town of Nalut. While you drive up the mountains, the terrain suddenly changes and its hard to realize but Tunisia is just another 15 minutes further. Nalut has one of the better preserved ancient Berber ruins in Libya. If you’ve already visited Yafran, this place will seem like a real archeological site.
